The Embassy of Italy in Abuja is a diplomatic mission operating since 2003 in the federal capital of Nigeira, after it has moved from Lagos.
The offices of the Embassy have been located within the Europen House Complex since May 2005.

The Embassy opens the following offices to the public: Commercial Office, which covers the entire Country, and the Consular Chancery, which covers the Federal Capital Territory and the States of Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Niger and Plateau.
Visas for the whole of Nigeria are processed at the General Consulate of Italy in Lagos. Please visit www.italy-ng.com and www.conslagos.esteri.it for further details.
In Abuja it is possibile to process only visas for Nigerian diplomats posted to the Embassy of Nigeria in Rome.

The Consular Chancery is open from Monday to Thursday, 9am - 12noon.
On Friday it is open only for urgent cases, prior to arranging a meeting by calling 09 4602970/1/2.

The Ambassador of Italy in Nigeria is also accredited to the Republic of Benin and to the Economic Community of Western African States (ECOWAS-CEDEAO).

In Cotonou there is a Honorary Consul of Italy.
A Vice Honorary Consul of Italy is present in Port Harcourt.
